It is a sunny day of October when I visit the island of Palawan. There are so much happy memories that I treasure in this island. All spots are picturesque. Most people are smiling and amazed of to the beautiful view the island offers. Imagine every single island are carved by our mother nature. I would always recommend this place if you want to be loved and feel in loved. There are things that our eyes could capture once. These memories are the ones that should be carved in our hearts.

🍪 JungCookie’s Tips :

~ Make a checklist on what items you need to buy for your trip. For this trip I set rushguard and sunscreen as my top priority.

~ Don’t miss the chance to book during seat sales, you could save a lot from your travel expenses.

~ Most tourists look for island hopping packages for El Nido. So, book these island hopping packages beforehand to avoid inconvenience on your trip. It is available over the internet. For us we have chosen Package A and Package C.

~ Buy dry bag beforehand, this water proof bag is your savior for getting your thing soaked in sea water. haha. 🤣

~ Buy waterproof cellphone case or better invest for an action camera such as Go Pro so that you could take unlimited hassle free photos while you’re on sea. You need to swim from boat to the shore in most of you’re island hopping stops. Don’t worry they will provide life vests before you start the trip.

~ Wear shorts on the day you travel from Manila to El Nido. It’s quite a long ride to go there from Puerto Princesa Airport.

~ Buy snorkling goggles and aqua shoes beforehand if your quite hygienic. You could rent goggles and aqua shoes when you arrive at the shore before you start island hopping but these are already used by many people and they just clean it after use.

~ Wear sunscreen before you go out under the sun. Trust me you will fry under the sun if you don’t. hahaha. 😋

| 1135 H | Arrival in Puerto Princesa |

When you go to Palawan, most tourist preferred to arrive at the new Puerto Princesa International Airport. The airport is now finished with modern design and could accomodate more tourist compared to the previous one.

From Puerto Princessa International Airport, it is about four to five hour drive to reach El Nido, Palawan. So you need to allot one day to go to El Nido.

🍪 JungCookie’s Tip:

~ If you eat dinner near El Nido Public Market like us, then I would suggest to buy bottles of water and snacks after dinner as preparation for your island hopping on the next day.

🍪 DAY 2 》 DAY 3 | THURSDAY 》FRIDAY 🍪

| 0700 H | Leave hotel for Island Hopping |

Day 2 and Day 3 has the same setup, we leaved the hotel at 0700 H and went to the shore near El Nido Public Market. So, the day begins, we pay for the snorkling goggles and aqua shoes and ride the boat. Before we leaved the shore, they will provide life vests. Then its a game. Yahooooo! 🤩

Experience breath taking views as you travel from one island to the another.

You must try to experience riding a kayak. It could accommodate a maximum of three passengers. So, you could divide the fee into three if you want like my friends did. You could enjoy the view with this one instead of swimming with your life vests and its quite tiring swimming in your life vest specially if you don’t know how to float or swim.

There are a lot of dishes and delicacies that you would enjoy in Palawan. Thinking that this is another expense? You don’t have to worry the lunch is also included in the packages that we availed.. Isn’t it great? Yeah, you will eat lunch by the beach. I enjoy the lunch, I could say that the grilled fish and shrimps are so fresh. I don’t usually eat fish but here I could say I eat a lot because there’s something on the fish that you could say it tastes fresh. There’s also meat if you want. They also have ensaladang talong, pancit, and fruits for desert. We eat on bare hands that’s how we enjoy it. haha. 😀

Let’s continue. I also recommend to have a shot on the front area of the boat. If you are not planning to go back in El Nido, I think you should not miss this experience. So here’s a sample from my friends. hahaha. 😋

🍪 DAY 4 | SATURDAY 🍪

We leave the hotel early because we need to allot another four to five hours to return in Puerto Princesa. Along the way, you could visit Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center but I will suggest this only applicable if your flight from Puerto Princesa to Manila is late night. In our case, we rushed a bit to the airport because we quite lose track of time.

For your pasulubongs or giveaways, don’t worry because you could drop by at MCA Market Mall Pasalubong Center. This mall is already near the airport but I suggest that you come ahead of time. From candies to t-shirts, I could say that almost all of your giveaways or pasalubongs are available in this one stop shop mall.
