Enjoying the Cool Breeze of Tagaytay

I know that Baguio is quite far from the metro and for this blog I want to talk about an alternative if you are planning for a weekend getaway and you still want to experience a cool breeze to release your stress during the busy hours you spend in the office. I would suggest to visit this place during winter months (December to February) as you could enjoy the cold breeze similar to the one’s you experience in Baguio. Well, Tagaytay also offers instagram perfect coffee shops and personally this place is one of my favorite spots when I just want to spend a whole day chatting with my friends while enjoying a hot cup of coffee.
During our visit in Tagaytay, we decided to have a two days one night trip. We go there on a Saturday morning and return back to metro by Sunday afternoon. Your visit in Tagaytay will not be complete without enjoying a hot Bulalo. We decided to visit one of the famous restaurants in Tagaytay which is Leslie’s for our breakfast.

So, after we have breakfast in Leslie’s Restaurant, we decided to check-in on the place that we booked through Airbnb. We stayed in Beach Tagaytay. Yep, you heard it right because the theme of the room is like you’re in coast of the beach. Trust me, you will be surprised on how the owner present their unit. Actually, this is one of the units that I rent in Airbnb which exceeded my expectations. The interior of the unit is superb and classy, perfect for your instagram post.
What I love in this unit?
🍪 It has a balcony facing the Taal Lake so, it is a plus for me because you could enjoy the view without going outside. My tip is to wake up early in the morning and wait for the sunrise and enjoy the view in the balcony.

🍪 The room is fully air-conditioned.
🍪 There is a separate area for shower and another one for the toilet.
🍪 A huge television with free Netflix!!!

We just drop our bags in the condo unit that we rented for a night and drive through the Bag of Beans Main Branch. We spend most of the day here just having meaningful conversations with my close friends. Well, to distress ourselves for the busy lives and also to catch up with them. The restaurant is also perfect for your daily instagram posts. Here are our shots.
The ambience of the place is perfect for chill conversations. A must try in their menu is the blueberry cheesecake and their variety of milkshake is quite good.
After those long chats, we just spend rest of our night with a light drink in the balcony and watch movies available in Netflix. By the way, we cook ramen for our dinner just to utilize the amenities of the place.

Sunday mass is a must for catholic like us. So we start our day by thanking God for the blessings that we received for the year.
After the mass, a must try is the bibingka stall beside the church area. The bibingka is made upon order so, you know that it is made fresh. haha.
While waiting for the bibingka, we decided to buy some organic stuffs there. For me, I bought honey and lettuce because it is quite cheap and I guess it is more fresh and manufactured with less preservatives.
