Staple Korean Food Teobboki

August 2018

When I was in a Korea trip two years ago, I am really curious on how they cook this korean staple food teobokki. I love the weird combination of its sweet and spicy flavors satisfying my palettes. For K-Pop lovers out there and to my friends asking how to cook this korean dish, its JungCooking time. 😁

~ So, maybe the first question in your mind is where to buy the ingredients of this dish? You could check Korean Grocery Store DirectoryΒ to find the nearest grocery in your area.

~ Next is I want to explain that there are two possible ways to buy the ingredients. The easiest way is that there is already an all in one package available in the market. The main ingredients such as rice cake, fish cake, chili paste, and soy sauce are already included inside the package. The other way is to buy the main ingredients in separate packs. If you are a beginner in cooking this dish I suggest that you buy the all in one package. On the other hand, if you’re comfortable in cooking this dish then you buy it in separate this way, you will have the freedom on choosing the brand you want especially for the chili paste.

This time, I will show you how to cook the all in one package and I will just create a separate blog for the other way around.
