That Moment When I Meet A Special Someone

It was a hot summer morning in 2020 when I first met this someone. It was that moment at the pantry when I felt this feeling again. The butterflies that put smile on my eyes. It started with a lovely gaze that you gave me. And since then I am so grateful every time we have these moments, that moments our eyes met. I love it and I will cherish this feeling for the rest of my life. I don’t know how to play cards but I am grateful that there’s this hope in my heart that maybe one day both of us will have the right time where we will be so close to watch a beautiful sunset. I hope that one day you came across these lines that I am writing at this happiest moment of my life. A time that I am grateful for those butterflies. I want to thank you for letting me feel this feeling of being in love again because I never thought I will feel this way again. The feeling of being genuinely happy. I want to thank you because I felt that I have a someone who fills the emptiness that I felt while I am lost on this unfamiliar place. A place when no one knows my name. I never thought that loving and liking you at that distance will make me realize that love is just simple.

I wish that these moments last until the time that we part ways. Maybe that time will come. That’s why I am cherishing every second that we have. I hope that you always share that smile in your eyes. I hope you share that look to the right person that compliments you. I know that person deserves your love in return. At this moment, I am looking on the clear dark sky, with the moon, and the stars. Thank you for being the moon on my darkest skies. I know that there will always be a sunrise and there’s this moon that shined on every darkest days of my life. And then I close the blinds hoping that you will always be on my dreams.
